Subscription and Refund Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

In short

  • Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • You get an email before renewals and before an intro price ends. You can see your payments and invoices in Settings → Subscription.
  • Cancel online in a few clicks, or by email. You keep access until your paid period ends.
  • Not happy? Ask within 28 days of your first payment and we refund it in full.
  • EU and UK customers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal, with a withdrawal button.

This summary helps you read the policy. The full text below is what applies.

1. Plans and prices

We offer plans of 1 month, 3 months and 12 months, and plans of 4 weeks, 12 weeks and 24 weeks. The checkout shows which plans you can choose. We sometimes offer an introductory price for your first period. The checkout page always shows, before you pay: the price you pay today, the price of every renewal after that, how often you are charged, and how to cancel. If you got an intro price, it applies only to your first period. After that, your plan renews automatically at the regular price shown at checkout, once every period of the same length, until you cancel. A plan of 4 weeks lasts 28 days, so its renewal date moves a little each month.

Where sales tax or VAT applies, it is shown before you pay. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee if your card is not in US dollars. That fee is not ours.

2. What you agree to at checkout

Before you pay, you agree to the renewal terms by tapping the button directly below them. Right after your purchase we email you a confirmation with: your plan, the amount and how often you will be charged, the date of your next charge, the money-back guarantee, and how to cancel. Keep this email. We keep a record of your consent for at least 3 years, or 1 year after your plan ends if that is later.

3. Automatic renewal

Your plan renews automatically for the same period length, at the renewal price shown at checkout, and is charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel. We charge you on the day your current period ends.

If you live in the EU or UK: your first period runs for the length you chose. After that, your plan continues for an indefinite period, and you can cancel it at any time. Cancellation then takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and never more than one month after you cancel. If that leaves part of a paid period unused, we refund that part.

4. Reminders we send you

  • Before a renewal of a plan longer than 1 month, and before an intro price ends: a reminder with the date, the amount and a link to cancel, within the time limits set by law.
  • Once a year: a reminder of your plan, what you pay, how often, and how to cancel.
  • Before a price change: a notice, see below.

Your payments and invoices: you can see them at any time in Settings → Subscription. Tap “Manage or cancel” and a secure page from our payment provider opens.

Please add hello@reconnected.today to your contacts so these emails don’t land in spam.

5. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, without giving a reason:

  • In your account: go to Settings → Subscription and tap “Manage or cancel”. A secure page from our payment provider opens. Cancel there in a few clicks. On the same page you can also change your payment method and see your invoices.
  • Online: go to reconnected.today/cancel, or use the “Cancel subscription” link in the footer of our website or in any reminder email. Tap “Cancel my plan” and send the ready-made email that opens. You don’t need to write anything else.
  • By email: send an email with the subject “Cancel” to hello@reconnected.today from the email address you used to sign up. You don’t need to write anything else.

We may ask why you are leaving and, if you choose to hear it, show you an offer. The button to finish cancelling is always visible, and you never have to talk to anyone.

We confirm your cancellation by email right away, with the date your access ends.

To stop the next charge, cancel before your renewal date. After you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

Deleting the app, unsubscribing from emails or simply not using Reconnected does not cancel your plan.

6. 28-day money-back guarantee

We want you to feel sure about trying Reconnected. If it isn’t right for you, ask for your money back within 28 days of your first payment and we refund that payment in full. You don’t have to prove anything.

  • How to ask: email hello@reconnected.today from your account email with the subject “Refund”, or choose “Request a refund” on the cancel page.
  • The guarantee covers the first payment of your first plan, once per person and per payment method.
  • When we refund, your plan is cancelled and your access ends.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method. They usually show within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • The guarantee doesn’t apply if you have already filed a chargeback for the same payment. In that case your bank handles it.
  • If we see clear abuse, such as repeat sign-ups to get repeated refunds, we may refuse a refund or close the account.

7. Other refunds

Apart from the money-back guarantee and your legal rights below, payments are not refundable, including renewal payments and partly used periods. We always refund charges made by mistake, such as a double charge or a charge after you correctly cancelled. If something went wrong on our side, tell us and we will make it right.

8. The Shared Experience

The Shared Experience is a one-time payment, not a subscription. At checkout you ask for immediate access, and you confirm that you lose your right of withdrawal once it starts. Because of that, it is not refundable once you or your partner have opened it, unless it doesn’t work as described or the law requires a refund. If you bought it but haven’t opened it, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase.

The Shared Experience works together with your Reconnected plan. If your plan ends, access to it ends too. If you get a refund under the 28-day money-back guarantee, we also refund The Shared Experience.

9. Right of withdrawal for EU and UK customers

If you live in the EU or UK, you can withdraw from your plan within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason.

Because you get access right away, at checkout you ask us to start immediately. That means that if you withdraw within 14 days, you would normally owe an amount for the days you used. We waive that amount: if you withdraw within 14 days, we refund your full payment. Our 28-day money-back guarantee also applies on top of this.

How to withdraw: use the “Withdraw from contract here” button in your account or on our cancel page. You confirm your name and email, then press “Confirm withdrawal”. We send you an email straight away with what you sent and when. You can also send us a clear statement by email, or use the model form below. Your withdrawal counts if you send it before the 14 days end.

We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method.

Complete and return this form only if you want to withdraw from the contract.

To: DK Essence, Aphroditestraat 35, 5047 TW Tilburg, the Netherlands, hello@reconnected.today

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: Reconnected plan / The Shared Experience (delete as appropriate)

Ordered on: ………… · Name: ………… · Email used for the order: ………… · Address: ………… · Date: …………

10. Payments and failed payments

Payments are processed by one of our payment providers, Whop or Stripe. If Whop processed your payment, the charge may appear on your statement as Whop or Reconnected. If Stripe processed it, the charge appears as Reconnected. You must keep a valid payment method on file.

If a payment fails, our payment provider will try again over the following days and email you. You keep access while it tries. If the payment still fails after about 2 weeks, your plan ends and your access stops. Your progress is kept, and you can start a new plan at any time.

11. Price changes

We may change our prices. If the price of your plan goes up, we email you before it applies, as required by law, and the new price starts at your next renewal. You can cancel before then at no cost. If you live in New York and didn’t agree to the increase in advance, you can cancel within 14 days after the first higher charge and get a refund for the unused part.

12. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you don’t recognize a charge or think it is wrong, please email us first. We can usually solve it the same day, including a refund where it applies. A chargeback takes weeks and costs both of us money.

If you file a chargeback, we may pause your account while the dispute is open, and we may share information with the payment provider to respond to it, such as your order details, consent records, receipts, reminder emails and when you used the Service. If the dispute is decided in your favor, your plan is cancelled. If you receive a refund from us and also through a chargeback for the same payment, we will ask to reverse one of them.

13. Your rights under the law

This policy adds to your legal rights. It does not replace them. Some US states, and the EU and UK, give you extra protection, and nothing here limits rights you have where you live.
